本片改编自经典电玩游戏。主人公为了报杀母之仇，投奔祖父三岛，请求后者训练自己成为强者。后来三岛举办了“铁拳之王”的比赛，主人公发现自己的杀母仇人也是选手之一，于是决定参加比赛与其一决生死。
