　　Tales from the Occult 2 is a sequel to the 3-part omnibus and is a more ambitious work than its predecessor, swaying towards the psychological thriller genre. Frank Hui’s Rapunzel tells the story, which begins when a female model, sexually harassed by a record company CEO, visits a hair salon where a psychopath works. Daniel Chan’s Cheshire Cat is a nightmarish urban legend that slowly unveils the person who killed Nora’s cat, Bobo, as the trauma continues to haunt her. Doris Wong’s Tooth Fairy details the horrors that any person can experience at a dental clinic. Karena Lam who starred in Leslie Cheung’s last film, Inner Senses (2002), gives a memorable performance as the mysterious dental clinic nurse. (JU Sungchul)

　　平面模特陈美诗Macy（贾晓晨 饰）自小就有阴阳眼，能够看见鬼魂，她常年和死去的奶奶的鬼魂住在一起。这天，Macy和其他几个模特拍摄一组僵尸主题的照片，摄影师Roman（李灿森 饰）苦于找不到灵感，于是老板King少（彭敬慈 饰）和当红模特Chelsea（孟瑶 饰）等一行人前往荒僻的东龙岛拍摄。岛上，无所事事的沙胆威（郭晋安 饰）等警员迎来了新任领导徐督察（谷祖琳 饰），徐督察性格强硬，指令警员们严格执法，可在这平和小岛上犯罪本就是稀有事件。Macy等人登岛后，警员们颇为兴奋，但很快怪事频发，空气中时常出现令人难耐的臭气，继之警员发现了僵尸的踪迹。原来东龙岛上有King少的祖先之墓，其祖因受诅咒变为僵尸王，此刻正是僵尸王重返人间作乱的时机……

　　成丰县有一条小巷，叫做施公径。巷子里有一间古旧的大屋，住的是施家后人。他们本来是当地的首富，不幸在二十年前发生惨剧，一家十三口全部给土匪杀死了。只剩下一个独生子跟他的妈妈。当时施家十三具尸体都扔在屋后面一口枯井里面， 事后鬼怪的事情层出不穷，有人说尸体的秽气扰及地龙，所以招致不详——但是这些，不过是种传闻。今天是施家老太太的五十岁生日，因为施家人丁单薄，所以，没有大室进入……

　　伟自从买了一辆二手车后，每当伟驾着这辆二手车便怪事连连，有意无意间伟都会到达同一条路，不断重遇一宗车祸之景象。某天伟又到达同一条路上，并撞到了一个女子，伟大惊驱车而去，岂料报章刊出死者是卖车给伟的汽车经纪，伟认为是因车祸而死的人冤魂不息，于是替死者作法事希望能平息怨愤，岂料一直要置伟于死地的竟是一辆凶车……

　　大殓时突然发生尸变，带喜被尸变吓昏过去，将在医院变成了植物人，带喜因阳寿未尽，在阳间又变成了非法入境之徒，于是就大闹阴曹，弄得是阴阳两界鸡犬不宁……

　　在东南亚流传的降头与毒咒有很多人都相信确有其事，且曾经目睹，但本片并不探究其真实性，只求给各位官能的刺激，达到娱乐的效果。马文彪是香港派往南洋交换服务的警探，带队破获杀童祭神案，并当场打死巫婆，巫婆临死时说，要用血咒杀死彪全家，彪回港后双腿突然风瘫，屡医无效，此后鬼怪之事连串发生……

　　邦、 雯新婚小别。雯无意中到一大宅，惨遭血魔强奸，并被吸干血液而死。雯死不心息，仍留人间与邦再聚，更要向血魔报仇，但为了保持容貌，她变成一个吸血鬼……

　　香港皇家警察萧玉龙（萧玉龙 饰）和刘兆铭（刘兆铭 饰）是一对同袍好友。某晚，二人参加婚宴，刘酩酊大醉，随之被扒手盗去荷包，更险遭飞车撞倒。二人驱车追赶飞车司机，糊里糊涂来到一片荒芜所在，更目睹持刀男子（黄初一 饰）追杀中年妇女的场面。他们上前制止，经过一番殊死搏斗，最终刘将持刀男子射杀。
　　然而蹊跷之事接踵而至，先是房间突然陷入混乱，然后萧之女友也被恶物缠身。虽经拜神请愿，却未见成效。最后经高人指点，萧方明白这一连串怪异事件的背后竟是隐藏多年的世代冤案……

　　Another brilliant giallo thriller from director Francesco Barilli, whose THE PERFUME OF THE LADY IN BLACK was one of the genre's most haunting and original films. This Italian-Spanish follow-up is a bit muddled, but no less engrossing.
　　Set in a family hotel in Northern Italy in 1945, the film concerns Rosa (Leonora Fani), who helps her mother run the hotel while awaiting her soldier father's return from the front. In a Barilli film, nothing is as it seems, and before long Mom (who is sleeping with a traitor she's hidden in the attic) is murdered. Then poor Rosa is raped by two of the guests, who also are murdered, and while she's hiding the bodies she is forced into an orgy by all of the other guests. But before the guests get to far a mysterious man enters all shots the guests. Who is this mysterious man and what are his intentions for Rosa?
　　Like all the best gialli, Pensione Paura completely dispenses with logic early on, elevating weirdness to nearly operatic levels while absorbing the viewer in a thick and spellbinding atmosphere of mounting dread. Francisco Rabal co-stars with Luc Merenda, Lidia Biondi, and Jose Maria Prada.
